In Loving Memory

Juanita Martinez (Vella), a Milpitas California resident since the 1960's, entered peacefully in to the presence of her Lord, Jesus Christ, on the evening of Monday October 24th, 2016.

Juanita was surrounded by her family and is survived by her sweet heart husband of over fifty years Ramon Martinez,
her daughter Eualia Cantu,
her grandchildren Patricia Otero, Cosmo Otero, and Elizabeth Davenport,
and her great grand children Jacob Brun and Antonio Otero,
brother Vincent Vella, sister Elida Medrano and Helen Vella,

Born in Brownsville, Texas in the summer of 1918 and the eldest daughter of Amanda and Felix Vella.
She helped take care of her 8 siblings along with helping her dad on the farm.
The entire Vella family moved from Texas to San Francisco in pursuit of better opportunities and settled in San Francisco. While living in San Francisco she worked as seamstress, canner at Del Monte, a cater for San Francisco International airport, and was part of the early tech industry too.

Juanita took great joy in spending time with her family and friends. Her home was always open and she loved long chats under her magnolia tree in the front yard. She loved creative projects, car adventures, and gardening.

The family will be having a private funeral service for her at a later date. Flowers and gifts can be sent to her residence.
