Elizabeth's Birthday Party
ODE TO LIZZY ON HER NATAL DAY
There once was a lady named Lizzy.
Metadating kept her very busy.
Running here, running there,
Taking snaps everywhere,
Sometimes it left her very dizzy.
She spoke English and Spanish and photo,
As she worked at her desk on the boat-o.
Weekends, she'd leave the ship
For a relaxing trip,
But she never would flaunt it or gloat-o.
She liked things that exuded panache,
Feminine things, but with lots of flash.
Her taste ran to classy.
She's a classice, this lassie;
Basic black with a colorful sash!
Today she is wished loved and laughter,
That we hope will ring long from the rafter.
May her birthday this year
Bring her twelve months of cheer,
And many more in the years after.
