Donor Doubles your Dollar

YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL! This is a phrase that for some may be repetitious and cliché but for young children like Said, Liberee, Abel, & Bobo who have never heard this phrase, it's life-giving. In many developing nations photography is often reserved only for special occasions and important people. While most of us have shoeboxes filled with old photographs of birthday parties or school pictures, many children in West Africa, especially those born with physical deformities, have not had the chance to feel special or to celebrate their accomplishments.
But together we can literally show them how beautiful they are—and how truly precious they are to God!

Through the gift of photography we can place portraits of our patients in their hands. Taken home, that photograph becomes a permanent visual milestone of empowerment, literally serving as a testament to the miraculous transformation in their physical bodies. A simple photograph placed into the hands of a child tells them something they may have never heard even once before—You are important to me and to God! Someone has heard your prayer! You are beautiful!

Your partnership is vital to the story of the patients on the Africa Mercy.

And now your financial partnership can be doubled! From now until November 15th there is an incredible opportunity to double your monetary gift up to a total of US$5,000.

Here's what you can do...

You can access my website by following this link and make your donation -- https://connect.mercyships.org/page/outreach/view/crewmates/cantue.

Your gift will directly bless the lives of patients in West Africa by helping to send me to Sierra Leone as your representative to show God's love, support, and emotional healing to many of the patients who receive life-changing operations on the Africa Mercy.

Remember, AS I GO, YOU GO WITH ME. Thank you for becoming part of their amazing story of God's healing,

Liz Cantu

Photojournalist & Friend

P.S. Keep in mind that gift donations received prior to November 15, 2010, will be doubled up to a total amount of US $5000!
