Musoma...did you know

Strange to post without pictures. I almost always have pictures to put up. But unfortunately I don't. My apologies. Just been researching more on Musoma, Tanzania and wanted to share a lil bit about what I found with you.

Take a look:

Location?

Musoma is situated in the Mara region, in the North West of Tanzania with national boundaries on Lake Victoria to the west and Kenya to the North. It includes part of the Serengeti National Park to the east. Its area is approximately the size of Wales, with a regional population of 3,000,000 approximately. Musoma is the local centre of administration for approximately 40,000 inhabitants.

Life?

It is an agricultural area producing crops such as sisal, cotton, cassava, millet, potatoes, maize and coffee. Livestock farming is of cattle, goats and sheep and there is some fishing in Lake Victoria. Drought is a factor affecting every culture. Health care and education suffer from a lack of resources

and it is understood that there is only one major paved road in the region.

Did I just read that last sentence correctly?

One major paved road in that region. What a photo opp.

I can only imagine the different passer bys.
